o commemorate the year we’re now in, I looked up some facts about the number 26 and I have to say, pickings were slim… the


following trivia counts as the highlights – did you know, for instance, that in a standard deck, there are 26 red and 26 black playing cards? That there are 26 spacetime dimensions according to bosonic string theory? Your foot is made up of 26 bones and June 26, 1977 was the date that Elvis Presley performed his last ever concert? There you go, then – mildly


interesting, but no real life-changing information there… What I was hoping to find, perhaps, was something profound and symbolic about this year, to motivate you to go out and seize the day! But I realise, of course, if you’re reading this issue of Business Franchise,
