Tell us a little-known fact about you… I competed in the British Taekwondo Championships in 1994 and won a bronze medal.
What’s your… drink of choice? A scotch whisky!
…perfect holiday destination? A UK coastal cottage holiday with the family, topped off with ice creams by the sea.
…dream dinner party guest line-up? Dave Grohl, Brian Clough, and Michael Parkinson. Great stories, strong opinions, and a dinner table I’d never want to leave.
Who’s providing the soundtrack? We are playing ‘Angels’ sung by the very talented Homecare’s Got Talent Choir.
Who’d play you in the fi lm of your life? Nick Nolte. He’s exactly the kind of character actor I like to think my life deserves.

Mine found me in the 80s, before they were excellent… and now they’re back to their founding state again. Full circle.
SCOTCH
What philosophy do you live by? Fail fast and fail forward.
What character from the past do you most identify with – and why? Brian Clough. He saw himself as the ultimate underdog yet was often perceived as arrogant when he wasn’t. Confi dence is easily misunderstood.
