About us

Aon exists to shape decisions for the better – to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world. Our colleagues provide clients in over 120 countries with the clarity and confi dence to make better risk and people decisions that help protect and grow their businesses; through actionable analytic insight, globally integrated Risk Capital and Human Capital expertise, and locally relevant solutions.

Opportunities

If you’re seeking a real-world alternative to university, an Aon apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to earn while you learn and gain practical, hands-on experience alongside working towards industry recognised qualifi cations. We offer an 18-24 month Apprenticeship Programme where our apprentices work closely with experienced mentors, receive comprehensive training and actively contribute to impactful projects. Responsibilities include building strong client relationships, assisting colleagues in advisory activities and maintaining management information. It’s a fantastic way to start a career in the dynamic and rapidly changing fi elds of risk management and insurance. Our market-leading study packages include fully funded

professional qualifi cations, such as the Chartered Insurance Institute and Investment Management Certifi cate, tutorial support, study materials and study leave.

Career progression

Our apprentices are permanent employees involved in meaningful work from day one. On completion of the formal programme, they continue to receive ongoing support and guidance from leaders, colleagues and the Talent Development team. Apprentices continue their studies towards industry-

recognised qualifi cations, progressing to a level 6 qualifi cation once the initial apprenticeship is complete. They continue to develop soft skills such as project management, presentation and communication and gain valuable business knowledge. We would expect our apprentices to be promotion-ready within 24 months once they have built up the required skills and experience.
