INKY JOHNSON


Keynote speaker, Inky Johnson, is a resilient human being. Born into poverty, Johnson’s rough upbringing wasn’t even the tip of the iceberg for challenges he would have to face. His story begins with football, but continues on to something so much greater.


Johnson discovered he had a passion for the game of football early on. From a very young age, it was evident that he was a gifted athlete. His gift of athleticism eventually earned him a spot on the University of Tennessee Football Team as a Defensive Back. His talent, as a member of the team, got him one step closer to fulfilling a lifelong dream of making it to the National Football League.


But sometimes dreams are disrupted.
