A POPULAR leisure centre which has brought £1 Om. of investment, 70 jobs and countless happy hours o f leisure time to Burnley and its people is celebrating its 10th birthday.
Crow Wood Leisure Centre, situated in 100 acres of woodland off Junction 11 of the M65 has been a labour of love fo r owner Andrew Brown, who has poured not only cash but dedication into making it the success story it is today.

The centre has become a home from home for members who enjoy the social side of being part of the caring and friendly club.
And its staff feel exactly the same. Many . have been with the centre since it opened its doors a decade ago.
This is particularly important for many of the club’s older members who enjoy
L the opportunity to mix with friends in the comfortable surroundings.
The 10th anniversary is just the start too. Ambitious plans have recently been.
. announced to upgrade Crow Wood’s popular Woodland Spa which attracts .customers from across the region.
This follows hot on the heels of a v ■ ■ refurbishment of the Equestrian Centre, where riders from as far away as Cheshire stable their horses such is the standard Y ' of the facilities available. A new five-a- side football centre also complements. ^ the extensively-equipped gym, group exercise class timetable, racquet sports . membership and 25m swimming pool that': combine to give Grow Wood something for everyone.

Karen Ashworth, spa manager, said: “Having worked at Crow Wood for 10 years, it’s been like having a second family. We are so lucky to have this facility in Burnley."
