Sarah’s in business to help keep children safe
A CLITHEROE consultancy and training agency aimed at safe guarding children aind vulnerable adults has won a business start-up of the year award. ,X. Sarah Goodall, a mum and step-
mum of four, set up the Athena Pro gramme in 2007 after completing a masters degree and getting married. Formerly a social worker, her vast
range of knowledge on the subject of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, a s ' well"as her creative approach to training, led her to want to start up the company and let her ideas flourish. Now her Clitheroe-based venture,
the Athena Programme, has won the coveted Business Start-up of the Year award at the North West Women in Business Awards Gala Dinner, held at Ribby Hall. The prestigious awards bring togeth
