Arden's top concert date YOUNG local singers will share the stage with one of the UK’s best-known choirs at a concert in Colne this weekend. The acclaimed London Community Gospel


Choir will perform at Colne Muni this Satur­ day, September 12th, supported by the award­ winning Arden Youth Choir, which includes several girls from the Ribble Valley. The two choirs will also be having workshops


before the concert at the new ACE centre in Nelson. Saturday’s concert begins at 7-30 p.m. and tickets are available from the box office on 01282 661234.

Facing North A NEW art exhibition is now running in the Steward's Gallery at Clitheroe Castle Museum entitled "Facing North", and featumg work by 50 artists living and working in the North of England. , The display will be open daily in the Stew­


ard's Gallery, Clitheroe Museum, until October 11th from 11 a.m xmtil 5 p.m. Admission is free.

A GIANT magical mystery com maze has spmng up on an eight acre site in the Ribble Valley. Children and


families can have bags of fun criss­ crossing the 8ft crop at Hawkshaw Farm Park, home to Mrs Dowson's Ice Cream, on the A59 at Clayton-Ie- Dale. There are plenty of wrong turns and dead ends to keep curi­ ous young minds amused. Yoimg children
