side Edge”, which won the best situation come dy prize awarded by the Writer’s Guild of Great Britain in 1994, the audience will have wit
nessed several traumas. These include one mar riage dissolving into what looks like a proba ble divorce, learning that one wife set fire to her husband’s brand new BMW and seeing anoth er couple find their way back to happiness together. The production will
run from Wednesday, October 14th, to Satur day, October 17th. I t will s ta r t a t 7-30

Big treat for 60s music lovers imuni
LOVERS of 60s music will be donning their dancing shoes for charity at The Grand on Satur day night. The Backbeats tribute
band will be turning the clock back on an amaz ing era for pop music
with a storming set of 60s covers from the likes of The Beatles, Elvis Pres ley the Kinks and the Rolling Stones. The four-piece band,
featuring Barrie Lancast er (guitar/vocals), Tony Bate (guitar/vocals).
Nick Mackey (bass/vocals) and Mike Sherlock (drums), will perform two sets of clas sic hits and also incorpo rate a 60s/70s disco into the evening's entertain ment. Money raised at the event will go towards
