SEVENTEEN members from both Clitheroe and Ribblesdale Rotary Clubs attended the Rotary Lan cashire and Cumbria Dis tr ic t Assembly, held a t Lancaster University, along with several hun-
, dred other Rotarians. ' The purpose, of the meeting was to hear and .
. set plans for each club to put in place for the com-. ing year. These were out lined by the new Rotary District Governor, Tony ; Parrini, of Carlisle, and
speakers from a variety of deserving charities. Both Clitheroe and
Ribblesdale Rotary Clubs will represent the Ribble Valley with a full pro gramme of youth, inter national and community initiatives. Both clubs thank the Ribble Valley MS Society for the loan of their minibus to transport their members to Lancast er. The MS Society is one of the local charities sup ported by Rotary.
