prizes of £300 and £200. And if you entered more than

one team, you could still win more than one prize. It has already been another

thrilling Premiership season, but can you make the transfers that form the team to scoop the jack pot? You can make up to five trans

to make, you must collect a spe cial Fantasy League token. We have given you two in the

transfer coupon printed on this page. And others have been appear

enough transfer tokens to make all the moves you need. Back copies of recent issues

with bonus transfer tokens are available from our offices in King Street, Clitheroe; Scotland Road, Nelson; and Bull Street, Burnley.

■ CAPTAIN Mat t Ashworth led Clitheroe A to the Ribble Valley Indoor Cricket League Under 13 title with some big hitting. The league was decided on the final

night of the competition, when Clitheroe (pictured above, s) beat Whalley by 23 runs. The opening pair of George Drake and

Rovers midfielder David

Dunn and Red Rose bats man Mai Loye are adding their sporting weight to the campaign, having had a heavy grass roots influence during their careers. Dunn said: “When I used

to play for my Sunday league team, everyone that was involved at grass roots level was a volunteer. “They undoubtedly

helped my game and played a big part in my develop ment as a footballer.” Loye added: “People at

grass roots level undoubted ly shape the successes of clubs like Lancashire CCC. “It’s important to recog

who always opens up the club for matches and train ing, somaone who drives the team to fixtures, a captain who organises all the team matches or a handy man whomendsthenets - every- body is included, in all sports.” Anyone who believes that
