a combined fuel figure of almost 48 m.p.g., which makes it probably the pick of the petrol models, although the 1.3-Iitre turbo diesel features identical performance figures, the same power output and another 13.5 m.p.g. on top of the consumption figure. Still, you do need to pay another £700 for the privilege and much of that fuel saving
