.Cubs were recently welcomed into ^Preston’s Gujarat Hindu Temple as part of their badge work to discover different faiths. Hosted by the tem ple’s commimity development pff leer, Priti P ate l; the Cubs were shown around th e highly^decorated and elaborate shrines of the Hindu Gods and also the Hindu scriptures, the Vedas. ■ Priti showed the Cubs the pictures
of the Hindu Gods portrayed in their many different forms. Our picture shows the temple’s

1995 by a group of like-minded artists in the North West. The members have a wide range of backgrounds and qualifications but all share an enthusiasm for textiles and use .this as their
principal means of ar tis tic expression. The diversity of materials draws them to textiles to'explore in a creative way. Hand-made papers-, felt, recy cled materials, metals, dyeing, printing and painting, all fea ture, as -well-as more traditional fabric and thread techniques.
