CHRISTMAS newborn Charles (Char lie) Andrew Jackson has brought a bun dle of joy into the lives of a Clitheroe couple. Charlie was the first baby to be bom

(38), and her partner, Andrew Jackson (37), of Roman Way, are delighted with their extra special Christmas delivery. “My waters broke on the morning of
the 22nd - the date Charlie was due. However, when I went to Royal Black- bum Hospital they sent me home say
ing I wasn’t ready as my contractions hadn’t yet kicked in. “I was induced on Christmas Eve and
Charlie arrived early on Christmas Day. Everyone is delighted. 'This is the best Christmas present ever,” said Joanne. Proud father Andrew added: “He’s
being well looked after by everyone, especially by his seven-year-old step brother, 'Thomas.” j .anne and Andrew thanked all the
nursing staff at the hospital, who they said were “absolutely wonderful”. Our picture shows the happy family
