. ■ JOHN Moore scooped two awards at Chatburn Cricket Club’s end-of-season presentation night. , He picked up both the Player of the


Paul Shorrock and Robin Kennerley picked up the respective second team Bowling and Fielding prizes, with the first team equivalents going to Russell Braith- waite and Paul Craig. Neil Cartledge took the Player of the Year gong, Richard Shovelton grabbed


Year award and Batting Award for the second team, despite his side’s relegation to the Craven League Fifth Division. Held at the Brown Cow in Chatburn,


the Batting prize, and Dave Musson took the Captains award. Braithwaite also added the honour of


having the best bowling performance, with Marc Holmes taking the batting equivalent, while Chris Mulhearn took the unwanted Duck award. Alan 'Woodworth took the Chairman’s


award, while the Young Player of the Year honour went the way of Paul Woodworth. Paul Whittaker was also handed the


Clubman of the Year prize, and also received special praise for his overall involvement and groundsman duties.


■ CLITHEROE Cobras Under 13s went through the entire cricket season undefeated, winning every game in the league and the cup. All of the squad played
