Part of a new Hanson UK purchasing team with a spend exceeding £1bn, these roles will be responsible for providing purchasing expertise to our operational teams.
The roles include: negotiating contracts with local and regional suppliers, liaising effectively with infernal stakeholders, ensuring the continuity of day to day plant requirements, maintaining a robust ■ supply chain and implementing e-procurement at plant level.
Candidates will have a hands on, flexible approach and be Cl PS qualified. Ideally with a background in an operational function you will also have excellent communication skills. Experience using SAP would be advantageous, however, training will be provided.
