A JEALOUS husband assaulted his wife when they returned home after he went looking for her while she was out with friends. Hyndburn magistrates heard th a t
Andrew Brian Mason pushed his wife over causing her to bang her face on a radiator. She claimed he then repeatedly kicked
her about the body, but Mason denied the allegation. Mason (37), of Highfield Road,
Clitheroe, pleaded guilty on a limited basis to assaulting Julie Mason causing her actual bodily harm. The case was adjourned so the magistrates can hear evi dence from both parties to establish the extent of the assault.
