Clitheroe 422324 (Editorial), 422323 (Advertising), Burnley 422331 (Classified) 28 Clitheroe Advertiser & Times, Thursday, July 12th, 2007 propertytoday.co.uk ets that need a home

YOUR local RSPCA Animal Centre at Altham has reached a standstill. There is not a single space free for the next dog, cat or rabbit that needs our help. Please give a thought for the unwanted, mis

treated or abandoned animals we are trying to re-home. Currently, we have 50 dogs, 46 cats and 20 rabbits in our care awaiting loving homes. Until we rehome these animals we do not have space to take any more animals from our wait

ing list. If you think you can help by rehoming one of our animals, please get in touch. You can visit our new website by logging onto

www.rspca-laricseast.org.uk to view animals available for adoption.

Cats H Alfie, x-breed, two years,

black/tan, male - A happy dog who responds to some basic

commands, but needs further training. A lovely dog who loves to run around and play.

Would suit an energetic owner who can take him for long walks. No children please.

■ Wessie, greyhound, two

years old, grey, male - Wessie is an ex racing greyhound so needs a home without cats and would also like to be an

only dog in the home. No chil dren.

H Moxy, Staffie, seven to eight years old, black/tan, female - Moxy is an excitable,

strong dog who needs an expe rienced staffy owner. No chil dren or other animals for her.

B Louie, x- breed, three

years old, black/tan, male - Louie is a friendly dog who should he fine with children

over the age of five. No other animals for him as he likes all

the attention to himself. He is house trained but he does not like to be left alone for too long.

VETERINARY CENTRE

B Sassy, DSH, eight years old, black/white, female -

Sassy has a slight weight prob lem and needs to lose quite a

bit of her excess weight. She is only here as her owner was

very poorly and unable to care for her. No children or other animals for her.

B Bernie, DSH, four to five years old, black, female - A nice cat who needs a loving home. Although she did live with several other cats she would prefer a home on her

own. Children should be over the age of eight.

B Jack Spat, DSH, five to

six years old, black, male - He is a friendly but nervous cat

who would prefer a quiet home environment without children. He may accept another cat or quiet dog with time.

9 Gismo, DSH, four years

old, black, female - A timid but friendly cat who would

like a home with children over the age of 10 and other cats.

She would even accept a quiet dog. Most of all she would love a home with Tammy.

-Rabbits-

B Valentine, lop-eared, adult Tortie, male - 1 was brought to the RSPCA and

lived alone here until recently when they found me a lady

friend called Petal. We got on really well but Petal has been adopted and now I'm looking for a new, kind owner.

B Robbie, English, two- and-a-half years old,

white/black, male - Hi, I'm the longest held rabbit here at

the centre. I have been here for almost a year now. I'm still

young and would like a hutch to call my own. I like all the

staff at the centre but unfortu nately I have to share them with the other animals. Oh yeah, I'm also rabbit of the month which means if you

adopt me you get some free bies too.
