• FOREIGN exchange pupils expe rienced a typical British lifestyle during their recent visit. The 12-14 year old pupils from
College Notre Dame, in Epinal, Eastern France, enjoyed a week’s stay in the Ribble Valley with Bowland High School families. The
■ pupils were taken to some scenic towns and villages throughout England, two being York and the
■ Lake District where they experi enced a number of breathtaking views and sights. One of the week’s highlights was a reception with the Mayor of Clitheroe. Mr Kim Croydon, head of mod
ern foreign languages at Bowland , High School, said; “Parents and families worked very hard to make the exchange pupils welcome. “The pupils have been really
impressed with our school, beauti ful scenery and English hospitali ty.”
