league needs new
teams
THE North West Mini Soccer League is curr rently recruiting teams for a ninth successful season. Based at the Robin
Park Arena in Wigan, the league caters for five age groups, from Under 8s-lls. All games are played
\:s?-
on Sundays on an arti ficial surface which enables children to develop basic ball and team skills. The all- weather playing area allows the league to play most weeks through the winter, giv ing teams continuous league action when grass pitches are water logged. As well as catering
for affiliated clubs, the leagues allow children to form their own teams with friends from school, youth groups and cubs. All parents need to
do is bring the team down at the allotted time each week. The league, which
boasts more th an 30 teams, is fully FA affili ated, enabling the use of top local referees in aU games. The 2005/2006 pro
gramme will be split into mini seasons, and every player will receive a trophy at the end of each-league cycle of approximately 14 weeks, win or lose! If you would like
more information about this unique league set up, call Steve (0161 764 6768/ 07939 213575). ■
