venue, and the hall was decked out for the festivities.
Guests of honour were the Mayor and
Mayoress of Ribble Valley, Coun. Peter Ainsworth and his wife, Thirza. Entertainment was provided by St
John’s School choir, which performed a medley of festive songs. And there was a raffle with a raft of prizes. The event, which has been running for
more than 20 years, was deemed a huge success.
