Whatever journeys you are plaiming this festive season, but par ticularly during the school run, make sure you keep children safe by ensuring that they wear bright or fluorescent clothing by day and have something reflec tive on their outer clothing when it is dark.
In addition, all children
between 0 and 11 years of age (and less than 135cms in height) must use an appropriate child restraint (car seat or booster) when travelling in the front or rear of motor vehicles. That is the new law - an adult belt alone for chil dren under 135 ems is no longer legal. Two lucky winners will
