Two Whalley families who have brought festive brightness to Limefield Avenue, have surpassed all expectations by rais­ ing £2,093. 80p for charity. :


The Edwardsons of number 3 and 5 Limefield Avenue, decorate their houses for Christmas and invited the public to walk round - and enjoy the spectacle


and donate money for charity.


Last year the families raised £1,237 for the North West Air Ambulance and this time the Make a Wish Foundation will benefit.


The money will go towards bringing a time of magic and joy into children’s lives as the charity grants the wishes of children aged three to 18,years living with life-threatening illness.
