FRIENDS and family flew out to Cyprus to attend the wedding of Clitheroe couple Emma Wood and Gary Massey. The bride, a mortgage adviser, who


enjoys aerobics and swimming, is the daughter of Mr Roy Wood, of Altrincham and Vivienne Brunskill, of De Lacy Street, Clitheroe. She wore an ivory silk dress and carried a bouquet of ivory roses. Her bridesmaids were Katie Wood, Jessi­


ca Brunskill, and Jenny Walker, who all wore pink silk dresses. They also carried


bouquets of ivory roses. The bridegroom, assistant manager at


Dawsons Department Store in Clitheroe, who enjoys going to the gym and running, is the son of Susan and Robert Massey, of Chatburn Road, Clitheroe. His best man was Andrew Brown, while


his groomsmen were Neil Hitchen, Steven Johnson and Kyle Goldsmith. Saul Thomp­ son acted as pageboy. After a ceremony at Agia Kyriaki Church in Paphos, a reception was held at


the Alexandra Beach Hotel. The couple stayed on in Cyprus for their


honeymoon and enjoyed a trip to Egypt. They will live at Woone Lane, Clitheroe.

AN enlightening talk about the work of information centres was given to the Ribble Valley Blind and Partially-Sighted Society. They were informed about the various


aspects of the TIC and told of the many queries raised by the public by Mr David


Johns and Mr Craig Wilkinson. Members were told that invitations for


the Christmas dinner at The Diners had been given out and they were reminded that the November meeting is the annual bnng and buy. Visitors and friends can join with members and go along to the Henthorn

VANDALS damaged garden lanterns at a


property in Woone Lane, Clitheroe. The lanterns measuring three feet high
