NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lancashire County Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is to prohibit temporarily any pedestrian from proceeding over that length of P u b lic -^ Footpath No. 10 Clitheroe, in the Borough o f “ Ribble Valley, indicated below:-


That part of Public Footpath No. 10 Clitheroe, Ribble Valley Borough, from the junction with Shawbridge Street at Grid Ref. 7469 4167, in a general south easterly direction for a distance of approximately 335 metres to the junction with Highmoor Park at Grid Ref. 7499 4157.


An alternative route is available using existing highways.


The closure is necessary because of the likelihood ot danger to the public as the footpath has collapsed due to f lo o d in g . '


The Order will be operative from the 2nd February, 2005, for a period ot 6 months.
