CUSTOMERS who travel on First North Western train services are being advised to check their journey times. As from Monday new au tum n


timetables are to be introduced on a number of main lines. This timetable change will include


major alterations to accommodate th e new West Coast main line timetable and improve reliability and punctuality. Denise Lennox, commercial direc­


to r a t F irs t North Western, said: “Passengers should be aware th a t changes have been incorporated into


the new timetables and some regular services have now been retimed. “As there are differences, we are


keen th a t passengers understand them before they start travelling. “The timetables are available a t


stations and on our website. “We are advising customers to

and Rawson, in Clitheroe, is the son of Mr David and Mrs Sandra Rawson, of Victoria Street, Clitheroe. Given away by her father, the bride


wore a full-length Japanese duchess sa tin strapless gown, with silk-based lace and Swarovski crystal on the bodice and train. Her bouquet was made up of phalancopsis orchids, lilac veronica, freesia, eucalyptus and beargrass. The bridegrooin’s daughter, Claire


Rawson, was a bridesmaid along with the bride’s cousin, Laura Kenwright. Dame of honour was Mrs Louise


Heyes, the bride’s best friend. All three wore skirts and bodices with


a side-sweep and damask scroll panelling in hyacinth blue and carried bouquets of hand-tied tulips. Best man was Mr Alan Blenkinship

Marathon couple in major hospice mission
