A NEW bus company to serve the Ribble Val­ ley was launched this


week. Lancashire United buses


will be operating on local routes following the pur­ chase of the business from Stagecoach by Blazefield


Holdings Ltd, the Harro­ gate bus-owning and oper­


ating group. The deal includes all


, buses and staff at the for­ mer Stagecoach depot in


i Clitheroe as well as other towns in the county, although services will be controlled by a local man­ agement team based at Blackburn, rather than Pre­
