to Clitheroe having per formed here many times over the years to great acclaim. He retired after a career as a cathedral organ ist, since when he has broadcast for the BBC, pro duced recordings and has given many concert tours throughout Europe, Cana da and the USA. In his spare time he assists in the musical life of St Asaph's Cathedral, Clwyd, and gives piano recitals. His last concert in
I Clitheroe was in 1998 and was reviewed by Mr Jack Longstaff, who said: "Among all the eminent recitalists who have played here over the years, Roger Fisher has an undisputed place among those at the
