American Pie, Sky Premier, 10.05pm. Juvenile comedies have been popular for many years. In the Seventies there was Richard Dreyfuss and Harrison Ford’s escapades in American Graffiti; the Eighties saw the bawdy antics of teenagers in the Porky’s series; and in the late Nineties we were offered a slice of American Pie. It follows the mis adventures of four high school boys who make a pact that they II all lose their virginity by prom night — but finding partners proves to be more difficult than they expected. Director Paul Weitz managed to employ the services of America’s finest young actors, including Jason Biggs, Chris Klein, Shannon Elizabeth, Alyson Hanmgan [pictured], and American Beauty’s Mena Suvari.
