Wanderers, winning both. In the first game they won 6-0. Goal scorers were Adam Getty (2)
and one apiece from James Wilbourne, Ashley Jeffries, Michael Fox and Mark Dunn. Man of the
match was Daryl Slack. In the other game, United came out
on top by six goals to two. Getty hit a hat-trick while Matthew James, Alex Haythomthwaite and Fox also scored. Wilbourne was the star performer. The Under 12s produced a lack-lus
tre performance against Fulledge Colts and were duly beaten 3-0. Mark Campbell was voted man of the

United’s Under 14s were thumped 5-0 by Junior Clarets with only Mark
Bennett impressing. The Under 16s suffered a 2-0 defeat
at the hands of Rolls-Royce despite creating numerous good goalscoring opportunities. Keiron Monks played
