OVENS in the Ribble Val ley had been working over time for days to prepare for a successful coffee morning which raised a big sum for the world’s poorest people. Churches in the Ribble Val ley were involved in the annu
al Christian Aid coffee morn ing, which was held in the Rib ble Valley Mayor’s Parlour. A steady stream of people
enjoyed coffee and home-made mince pies and patronised a vari ety of stalls selling crafts and home-made products. Ribble Valley Christian Aid
