A HELICOPTER landed on the stage of the Palace Theatre, Manchester, the other night. Nothing wi
convince ine otherwise. After all, I was only four rows back from the edge
of the stage, and although I wear glasses, they are expensive ones which cost a lot of money. And that WAS a helicopter which landed in the dumpsi-dark- ness as the play showed the Americans pulling out of Saigon. The landing even made the old walls of the Palace Theatre reverberate. But the aircraft did not affect my enjoyment or
