TWO men charged with being concerned in the supply of drugs were fur­ ther remanded in cus­ tody by Blackburn mag­ istrates. John Clayton (32), of Bank Cottages, Billing-

of amphetamine and cannabis after 6kg of amphetamine, worth £30,000, and 2kg of cannabis, worth £10,000, was seized from his home by officers from the major

Mrs Steen was a keen gardener and skilled craftswoman, who often competed in the Hodder Valley Show, as well as in competitions organised by the WI. A thanksgiving service
