TWO men charged with being concerned in the supply of drugs were fur ther remanded in cus tody by Blackburn mag istrates. John Clayton (32), of Bank Cottages, Billing-
ton, is charged with being concerned in the supply
of amphetamine and cannabis after 6kg of amphetamine, worth £30,000, and 2kg of cannabis, worth £10,000, was seized from his home by officers from the major
crime unit. He was also charged with supplying amphetamine to Christo pher Drew Brooks. Brooks (42), of
Albany Road, Black burn, was charged with being concerned in the supply of amphetamine, escaping from lawful cus tody and possession of a small amount of cannabis. One kg of amphetamine was seized when his car was stopped as he drove away from Billington.
