CLITHEROE manager Dave Burgess was under­ standably delighted with his side’s first win of the season at derby rivals Ramsbottom United on Tuesday night. The Blues 4-1 victory co­


incided with the return of Adam Gardner and Andy Cowking to bolster the defence while Martin Aspinwall - fill- ing—in at right-back in the absence of Gardner up to now - was left free to concentrate on creating mayhem down the


right flank. And Burgess admitted that , ,


while his team have played poorly up to now, he was glad to see some of last seasons reg­ ulars back in the side. He said: “We have played
