opening a second office. Well-known local personalities
Russell Anderton and Chris Bosonnet pooled their wide-ranging experi ence in property to start in practice at 103 King Street, Whalley, on June
15th last year. From Saturday the business will
also operate from 2-4 Parson Lane,
Clitheroe. Both offices will open seven days
a week and offer residential and commercial estate agency, a full pro fessional chartered surveying service
'and independent financial advice. The anderton bosonnet team all
live locally, it uses local firms for its own and any other work it commis sions, and it is constantly building up its commitment to the area. Having worked for other people in
: estate agency all over the area, Messrs Anderton and Bosonnet had
; a straightforward formula for success ‘ in mind when striking out on their / own.'

quality service, be there at the times buyers and vendors found it conve
nient to consult you, and balance old-fashioned standards with new
Internet technology. The partners are happy to make
evening appointments, but their web site can be consulted any time, otter ing "virtual tours" of property on
offer. This approach, backed up by , , i u
experienced staff, brought quick, right-price sales and instructions flooded in. Whalley was the original business area, but the partners con tacts and skills soon saw their neatly- presented boards on houses right
across the Valley. Personal, recommendation from
clients - buyers as well as sellers - is a key source of new business, and it is significant that many new home builders and developers use ander
ton bosonnet. The second office will be officially
opened by Mr Anderton's great-aunt Mrs Kathleen Bulcock, at a special evening party tomorrow. A doyenne figure locally, Mrs Bulcock founded the Kaydee bookshop with a friend, Miss Doris Brockley. Later she nan the Hark to Bounty pub in Slaidburn.

anderton bosonnet will market all
its properties from both offices, so that full information is available from
either. "We will continue our pro-active,
professional and friendly service,"
promises Mr Anderton. He and Mr Bosonnet - who quali
fied as a chartered surveyor 15 years ago - first worked together at
Preston in the late 1980s. The partners and staff look for
ward to making many new friends in the local property world via the Clitheroe office. For many, it will be a case of renewing old acquain
tance. - a wealth or
experience INQUIRERS at both offices are sure of not only a warm welcome, but a
well-informed one too. The anderton bosonnet team has
decades of estate agency work behind it.
Gillian Anderton, who is Russell s ■ ,,,
wife, and Wendy Scott both have 14 years in the field, and Carole
Cousens has 10. Two new staff members, Sue
Cousens and Kathryn Harrison, joined the practice recently due to the increasing workload.
