CLITHEROE sound effects king Simon Entwistle demonstrat ed his unusual talent in front of several million viewers when he appeared on children's favourite “Blue Peter”
on Friday. Simon (42), of Little-
moor Road, was invited, for the second time, on to the BBC programme to demonstrate just some of the 70 noises tha t have led to him being featured on many TV and radio shows since the early 1980s. D u r in g his th ree - minute slot on the live
week, Simon praised the programme's staff and pro duction team. He said: "The whole 'Blue Peter' team is so friendly and pro fessional at all times. There is a very happy atmosphere there and all the guests are treated well." Simon's slot on the tea

ADULT artists and craft workers have a chance to display their work at Clitheroe's Platform Gallery, one of the county's few venues to hold
