CLITHEROE Police yes­ terday issued a warning- to all schools in the area to be on the alert after two men wandered into Pendle Junior School, Clitheroe, and snatched a handbag from an office. The bag, containing £10

The Lancashire County Coun­ cil have made this Order with the consent of the Minister of Transport under Section .1 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1967, as amended - and by Section T of the Heavy Commercial vehicles (Con­ trols and Regulations) Act 1973 , and pursuant to af? rangements made under Sec­ tion 101 of the Local Govern­ ment Act 1972 with the County Council of North York­ shire; the effect of which is that no person shall cause any vehicle, the unladen weight of which exceeds 3 tons,'constructed or adapted for the carriage of goods, to proceed, except for certain exemptions which are set out in the Order, on any of. the roads within the boundary of the Bolton-by-Bowland Zone formed by the lengths of road and other lines specified in the Schedule to this Notice. The lengths of road forming the boundary are not the sub­ ject of this restriction.
