HEREFORD CATHEDRAL SCHOOL EXCEPTIONAL RESULTS AGAIN!

Hereford Cathedral School has seen an excellent set of A-Level results again this year, surpassing all national averages.

Amongst the School's highest achievers were four talented students taking up places at Oxbridge, including Ioan O’Reilly who won a place with a choral scholarship at Magdalen College, Oxford University to read History, Wills Whittall who has gone on to read Veterinary Medicine at Cambridge University along with Tom Skerrett studying Economics.

Particularly strong results were seen in modern foreign languages this year, with nearly two thirds of grades A*/A. There was also an impressive set of results in the arts where over 71% of students achieved top A* and A grades in music, drama and art, as well as in BTEC Sport where close to 100% of students achieved distinction and starred distinctions.

Headmaster Dr Michael Gray said“These were a really encouraging set of public examination results and testament to the tremendous effort that our young people put into their studies and showing the ongoing academic trajectory which the School is on.”
