Welcome to the March edition of your Live 24-Seven magazine – the start of spring already. I really love this time of year – it seems as this is when the year really opens up. The weather is getting better, we have lighter nights and there seem to be lots of exciting events just around the corner to keep us entertained.

We are so lucky here to have The Three Counties Showground on our doorstep and this month I had the pleasure of interviewing top garden designer and star of TV’s British Allotment Challenge Jonathan Moseley who is appearing there later this year. With a name like Bloomer I suppose a love of gardening was always going to be a given for me so it was a real treat for me to chat to him about all things horticultural. It seems I need to get down to the show though if I’m going to benefit from his green- fingered expertise. See him there in May!

March is also when we celebrate Mother’s Day of course. If you are looking for inspiration for gifts for your mum, check out our gift guides this month and hopefully something there will catch your eye. Or instead of a gift, perhaps you want to take your mum out for a special evening. Our entertainment section has some great events taking place at venues across the region – you could book tickets for two and enjoy some quality time together.

Our food and drink section also features some fab breakfast recipes – and not just a bowl of soggy cereal. Whether you want to treat your mum or are a mum wanting to be treated, there are some tasty treats to try there.

And if the warmer weather isn’t coming quite as quickly as you’d like, why not book an overseas trip. This month we feature the myriad delights of Jamaica, a Caribbean island with so much to offer. What are you waiting for.

See you next month, just in time for Easter, Sally-ann x
