WHAT’S ON IN YOUR COUNT Y RELATIVELY HILARIOUS

Greg only met Ginny a month ago but has already made up his mind that she’s the girl for him. When she tells him that she’s going to visit her parents, he decides this is the moment to ask her father for his daughter’s hand in marriage. Discovering a scribbled address, he follows her to Buckinghamshire where he finds Philip and Sheila enjoying a peaceful Sunday morning breakfast in the garden. The only thing is, they’re not Ginny’s parents…

HAL’S MIDLIFE CRISIS After 21 years and 224 days Hal's back being single. But it's all going to be fine.
Instead of getting the therapy he clearly needs, he's made a cracking show about it. He's lost enough weight to almost get his wedding ring off and, while he may be flying solo, he's far from alone; he's got his grown-up daughters, his dogs and his divorce lawyer.
The fickle finger of fate has turned Hal's life upside down but he's sticking a finger right back at it.
Hal Cruttenden - It's Best You Hear It From Me is at Huntingdon Hall, Worcester on March 11. For tickets visit

LOADS OF MONEY Each year Birmingham City Council spends £3bn of our money. But where does it all come from? And where does it all go?
In 50 fascinating minutes, using 6,000 gold blocks, and starring a human size bear, Stan’s Cafe’s fast and funny new theatre show sets out to explain it all!
Touring venues across Birmingham until March 16, All Our Money follows Bordesley, a football mascot, through his first day as the unlikely new leader of Birmingham City Council. Normally in charge of entertaining fans at half-time, he now has to ensure care homes can afford tea time, and potholes are filled. But caught in a storm of conflicting priorities and central government restrictions, does Bordesley have what it takes to make the Council’s budget add up, and keep the city running?
The All Our Money Birmingham tour is at various local venues across Birmingham until March 16. For more information, including tickets, see
