THE DINING ROOM The Belden House & Mews brings a new boutique hotel to Connecticut thanks
to a timeless renovation by Champalimaud. Bold striped banquettes in Dedar’s ‘Strange Loves’ fabric and cushions in ‘Belmondo’ offer stylish, comfortable seating and echo the original tiled fireplace. To augment the look, drape Edelman’s Mongolian shearling on a ‘Frederick’ chair by Andrew Martin and add a ‘Sonny’ lamp with rattan shade by Heathfield & Co. Overhead, choose the ‘Grozny’ chandelier in frosted glass by Visual Comfort & Co. to cast a warm glow over the room.
THE LOBBY Scotland’s first Hoxton hotel has an inviting mood with enticing
nooks complementing the Georgian-style architecture. To get the look in the lobby, choose the ‘Neverfull Low’ console in American walnut by Ceccotti Collezioni, Casamance’s ‘Tête- à-Tête’ embroidered fabric for the sofa and a chic ‘Dahlia’ wall light from Bella Figura. Altfield’s durable ‘Brighton’ hide and Turri’s leather-wrapped ‘Bow’ vases add character and elegance. Ceramic touches include an ochre ‘Morris’ table lamp by Heathfield & Co and ‘Seaton’ lagoon tiles from Ca’ Pietra Artisans.
