DESIGNS TO INSPIRE

Get the look from this issue’s stand-out projects – from a historic transformation of a boutique hotel in Connecticut to an inviting lobby bar in Edinburgh’s latest opening

THE SITTING ROOM This Notting Hill townhouse was brought to life by Studio

Vero with vibrant colour and pattern. To get the look, use ‘Ikat Bokhara’ from GP & J Baker on the pouffe, trim the curtains with Mulberry Home’s ‘Munro’ braid and add Sanderson’s ‘Wild Plum Light’ paint to the window woodwork. Gallotti&Radice’s ‘Selce’ table, Shepel’s curved ‘Mermaid’ sofa, a free-form ‘Pirelli’ mirror from Julian Chichester, Porta Romana’s ‘Tier’ lamp and Nobilis’ ‘Velours Sienna’ velvet add texture and artistic interest.

THE STUDY In this vicarage in south-west London,

Tamsin Saunders of Home & Found has created a home that feels as if it has gradually evolved over time. To get the look, hang paintings like ‘Rose Landscape’ by Quote & Curate from floor to ceiling to bring a sense of cosy containment. Mix and match a ‘Pompadour’ secretary desk by Oficina Inglesa Furniture with decorative pieces like a ‘Bobbin’ bookcase from Julian Chichester and Vaughan’s ‘Barley Twist Candlestick’ table lamp. Combine small- scale prints in natural fabrics like Romo’s ‘Junie’, and ‘Symington’ from GP & J Baker.
