The plug-and-play solution is easy to set up and to use. It is typically deployed from the side of a vessel, prior to the soft start of pile driving operations, for the installation of subsea foundations. Marine wildlife then has ample time to move away before the loud sound-producing activity begins.


FaunaGuard has been deployed in several offshore construction campaigns to protect marine life from serious physiological harm. Research, development and testing have given rise to a unique species-specific modular system, which unlike older generation acoustic devices: ■ Targets exact hearing ranges of fish, seals, porpoises and turtles
