Multichannel desktop lasers for laboratory applications With the BrixXLAB multichannel desktop lasers, Omicron-Laser offers fibre-coupled high-power illumination possibilities in laboratories. The systems offer up to four separately controllable wavelengths (375- 1550nm, up to 10W/channel) to provide ultimate flexibility when examining one sample at up to four different wavelengths or for examining up to four samples at the same wavelength. The touch screen user interface provides a higher level of independence and ease of use for laboratory applications. In addition, the built-in timer functionality facilitates the precise control of irradiation times when illuminating samples. The BrixXLAB can be applied in fluorescence analysis, as a light source in analytical processes, as well as for drug development, such as in photodynamic cancer therapy.

Medical workshops and trainings With the newly opened training and event centre near Frankfurt am Main, Germany, named the Omicron TechCamp, Omicron- Laser has created a space that can be used for all types of photonics events, such as workshops, lectures and training courses, both on-site and hybrid. The Omicron TechCamp includes a service room, a VR-OP room and several soundproof meeting rooms, each equipped with video conferencing systems for hybrid events. Specific, customised trainings can be provided upon request, covering the use of medical light-based devices, laser safety in the medical field or other topics. ●
