supplements, however, and are turning to functional foods and ingredients with an extra edge when it comes to additional health benefits and wellness. Whether it be vitamins, antioxidants or probiotics, this year has seen increasingly more choosing functional foods for their nutritional needs. As probiotics continue to gain popularity for their digestive benefits, among other advantages, we follow on from our previous issue and delve into postbiotics on page 10, understanding the difference between pre, pro and postbiotics and the various benefits each can offer for our health. We also take a look at how more and more people are relying on supplements in order to get a decent night sleep. Hearing from world-renowned sleep expert Dr Michael Grandner, we find out if sleep supplements are worth the hype or if a healthy lifestyle is a more useful option in the long term on page 30. Wellness is more than just a healthy option; consumers are searching for healthy tasting options, too.
