adisson Hotel Group wrapped up 2023 with exceptional growth, adding more than 30,000 keys to its international portfolio of ten leading brands, which marked a new company record and an extraordinary milestone in the group’s ambitious growth plan. Since the launch of its transformation plan in 2018, the group has grown its global business by nearly 50% and is projecting another year of diversified growth. Throughout 2023, the group continued to strengthen its dynamic portfolio of brands with the integration of art’otel into its ten-brand-strong umbrella, as well as by building scale in existing key markets and targeting wider market penetration in diverse regions and markets. In India, for example, the group expanded its presence as one of the largest international hotel groups in the country and harnessed its strong first- mover advantage with the signing of 21 properties. Similarly in the Middle East and Africa, the group signed 22 hotels, resorts and serviced apartments, adding more than 3,800 rooms to its regional portfolio and cementing its position as the fastest-growing hotel group in Africa.

Europe’s largest upper-upscale brand Radisson Blu continued to be the largest European upper-upscale brand for the 12th consecutive year. At the end of 2023, the group started writing an extraordinary chapter in 21st-century hospitality with the opening of Radisson Blu Hotel at Porsche Design Tower Stuttgart, and the signing of a Radisson Blu hotel in the new Triangle project in Paris, set to become the city’s tallest hotel and top mixed-use destination.

Introducing the exceptional to new markets In 2023, the group’s luxury lifestyle brand, Radisson Collection, continued to grow from strength to strength, announcing several new hotels in Milan, Brussels, Nigeria, Egypt, India and the Philippines.

Fastest growing brand in the industry The Radisson brand remained the fastest- growing brand in the industry and saw the addition of nearly 40 properties, including the biggest hotel in Zurich in 2023. The Scandinavian-inspired brand also made its debut in destinations such as Réunion, Budapest and Baku.

Resorts also continue to play an increasingly important role in the group’s strategic growth plan. Earlier this year, the group opened its first safari hotel in Hoedspruit South Africa. Additional 2023 resort signings were celebrated in Greece, India and the Philippines, as well as openings in Fiji, Turkey and Poland, where the group is also the largest resort operator.

In 2023, Radisson RED also made its creative debut in Serbia, Helsinki and Georgia, and introduced its social and hyper-connected hospitality to the popular destination of Phuket as well as Cambodia with the signing of a new dual-branded, Radisson RED and Radisson Blu property in Phnom Penh.
