SUNDS FIBERTECH Sunds Fibertech offers a wide range of process technologies for panelboard production. Whether it’s about new machinery or upgrades, the company tailors its products and
services for each customer operation. Its panelboard product expertise includes steam recovery, gluing, drying, emission control, sifting and cleaning, forming and mat pre-heating, pressing, pneumatic systems and lines. Sunds Fibertech says every panelboard plant, regardless of the age of the equipment, has the potential for improvement and the company helps customers optimise the process to increase production, save energy, reduce emissions and improve the uptime of the machinery. Its automation solutions include providing complete plant control systems for all types of panelboard lines – including MDF, PB, OSB and wet hard board (WHB). – using the latest technology, including PLC, HMI and MCC solutions. Sunds Fibertech services are available for all machine suppliers, whether new or existing – including new equipment, upgrades/re-builds, maintenance, advisory and spare parts.
USNR
USNR will be presenting AI-powered veneer grading and green random stacking solutions at Ligna.
The NV4g green-end and GSc2000 dry-end
veneer grading platforms use deep learning to achieve new levels of defect detection, making grading solutions more accurate and more profitable. The company says mills are reporting improved grading accuracy and more higher-grade finished products using the technology.
Deep learning, USNR says, is the ultimate defect classifier, being faster to start up, more accurate, and easier to use than neural net classifiers. USNR’s patented multi-point diverter
system (MPDS) is designed to make green random veneer stacking efficient. Using NV4g data to sort trash and divert fishtail/ random onto trays, MPDS can eliminate tipples and cumbersome transitions to multiple trays by loading each tray from discrete divert points. USNR’s random stacker automates the process and reduces head count by eliminating pullers. HALL 26, STAND D08
VITS TECHNOLOGY Vits Technology GmbH has gained worldwide reputation as a market leader for impregnation, coating lines and surface technology.
At Ligna, it will highlight its latest
innovations designed to take efficiency, sustainability and safety to the next level. While reducing the energy required for drying melamine films, the VITS says its smart-dryer DRY-IT ensures transparent production, complete process control and quality monitoring. Newly generated process data gained
this way can be further analysed via its digital production data management system DTC (Deurotech Connected). Furthermore, impregnation lines are
now fully electrified, marking a major step towards zero emission impregnation. Avoiding any fossil fuels, these lines enable an easy transition to renewable energy sources like green or hydrogen power at a lower energy consumption. VITS’ electrically heated LAY-ON-AIR E-dryer has been developed especially for this. The company says its fully automatic web feeding system PORTOS has improved impregnation line safety and productivity. HALL 26, STAND F23
VYNCKE VYNCKE NV, a family business with roots in Flanders, Belgium, is globally organised with about 400 ‘Vynckeneers’ in Brazil, Ivory Coast, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and China. VYNCKE designs and builds industrial energy plants to create clean energy from biomass or sorted commercial, industrial waste. The solution range includes steam boilers, hot water heaters, thermal oil heaters, hot gas generators, CHP plants and multi-media energy plants. VYNCKE provides solutions for the wood
industry, the agri- and food industry, and in general all industrial energy consumers worldwide. When it comes to turning biomass waste
into energy, VYNCKE is specialised in challenging project criteria: special fuels, fuel flexibility, strict emission standards, high availability and a low total cost of ownership. VYNCKE will present its latest
developments in biomass combustion plants implemented in the wood-based panels industry and its wood waste to energy solutions. HALL 25, STAND J45 & HALL 26, STAND E62
