HOMAG
At Ligna, Homag will hold the world premiere of the new SAWTEQ B-300 and B-400 panel dividing saws. The company says both machines have been updated with significant and innovative new features. The cutting solutions feature increased intelligence and digital, self-learning functions.
This is reflected, among other things, in an increased performance level because of an
improved sawing process and optimisation with reduced energy consumption. Machine operation has also been rethought, with improved working positions. The intelliGuide Classic operator assistance system – now included as standard – supplements these optimisations and guides the operator through the cutting process safely and intuitively using LED signals. In addition, a new feature within the saw control system monitors optimal machine use and provides continuous support through appropriate information — another step toward intelligent machine control. The focus is also still on cutting quality. HALL 14, STAND H16
IFA TECHNOLOGY IFA Technology has been active in the wood products industry for more than 40 years offering fully automatic weighing, mixing and metering plants for any liquids and solids, like glues, resins, colours and many more. With the different applications variable types of coatings for furniture, kitchen worktops and laminate flooring can be produced. IFA is also building plants for the production and synthetics of resins and glues, which is a long and labour-intensive process comprising a number of stages – it uses melamine- , urea- or phenolic formaldehyde condensing at the boiling point. IFA Technology is a member of Deurotech Group, a partnership of experts in the wood-based panels and paper industry, offering co-ordinated process technology in surface converting from a single source: impregnation and coating lines, systems for resin preparation as well as a wide range of environmental technologies. With its experience it offers to optimise industrial processes with its customised production plants. HALL 26, STAND F23
IMAL
IMAL manufactures and supplies equipment and systems for the production and processing of PB/SPB, MDF/HDF, OSB/LSB/ FOSB panels, insulation boards, pellets, pallet blocks and pressed wood-based products in general.
IMAL is also a leading manufacturer of glue dosing and blending systems as well as a supplier of on-line and laboratory quality control devices. The company will be present at Ligna with its high pressure resination system for PB, MDF and OSB lines, installed to reduce resin usage. Moreover, the Dynasteam, a system which injects dry steam into the mat prior to pressing to increase production rates will also be showcased.
IMA SCHELLING Under the motto WOOD Vibes, the IMA Schelling Group will be presenting its comprehensive solutions expertise in both woodworking and the board industry at Ligna. The two business units Woodworking and Board will be represented at the show with two stands. An overview of its technologies for

With its cutting, logistics and packaging solutions, the Business Unit addresses manufacturers in the fields of wood-fibre boards, plywood boards and solid wood boards as well as board finishers. Together with two regional partner
companies from Austria, Künz Kranbau and LTW Intralogistics, IMA Schelling Board will presents itself as a partner for high-quality automation solutions in the panel-producing industry.
IMA Schelling will also present end-to- end software solutions, offering options for networking machines. HALL 26, STAND E46
A mini production line will be created to demonstrate the full operational potential of the innovative FBC200 blow detector. The FBC200 is designed to detect blisters or blown areas over the entire surface of the board. Lastly, visitors may also view IMAL Smartlab – a full range of laboratory equipment with over 50 testing units. HALL 26, STAND D62
