With its extensive investments in product development and services, fire protection and
measuring technology specialist Fagus-GreCon considers itself well positioned for the trade audience at Ligna. As in the past, the company will present many innovations at the largest leading trade fair from May 15-19.
Digital transformation, increasing demands on efficiency and the resource-conserving use
of wood as a raw material as the driving force behind green materials processing – with its focus on current industry topics, Ligna is probably the most important trend barometer for the entire wood-based materials industry. “We have a lot of new products on offer and are looking forward to presenting them
to the trade public,” said Uwe Kahmann, managing director of Fagus-GreCon, about the company’s participation as an exhibitor. “Extensive investments have been made in product developments and our services. This is now paying off for our customers. At Ligna, we present the right answers to urgent industry questions,” he added.
fire incidents happen regularly and are dealt with routinely, but at the cost of production stoppages and downtime. Firefly offers several solutions for
the wood industry to help manage the risk of fire and optimise the productivity of the plant. It provides a range of sensors to protect plant, equipment, buildings, and people.
Fire protection specialist Firefly says its aim
is to keep wood-based panels producers in production. The company says the wood industry has a long-standing issue with fires. In many plants,
Firefly says its technology identifies ignition sources as soon as they emerge and are targeted with water mist. Firefly is a Swedish company that provides industrial fire prevention and protection systems to the process industry worldwide, specialising in creating customised system solutions.
At Ligna, the company’s fire preventive
team will be onsite to explain and demonstrate its fire preventive and protective solutions.
