LONGONI Longoni Roberto e figli srl (LRF) is working in the field of plastic decorative laminates (HPL, CPL), melamine faced panels (TFL, LPL) and finish foils. Being highly specialised in the production process of these components, LRF supplies the required machines, materials and technology suitable to meet the specific demand of each client.
Starting from 2003, LRF has been appointed by NTST Forestry Machine Manufacture & Installation Co Ltd as exclusive agent for export of its paper impregnation lines. LRF has recently developed the industrialisation of LAMIDRY technology, a patented process that allows the treatment of decorative and kraft paper surfaces with dry resin. Compared to the standard wet process, LAMIDRY is designed to use less resin, avoid polluted emissions and reduce energy consumption, machinery dimensions and investment cost. • PHENOLIC LAMIDRY COATING = No phenolic fumes to be treated • PHENOLIC LAMIDRY COATING = 200m/min speed in 30m long treater • PHENOLIC LAMIDRY COATING = No liquid resin, just resin powder HALL 26, STAND H07
METALUBE
Metalube will launch the next generation of its highly sought-after Metachain range of fully synthetic, high-temperature chain oils, created for wood-based panel presses at Ligna.
The next generation products are designed to run on even hotter presses and faster speeds. Metalube has been working for some time with its customers to address health issues relating to blue haze. The company says the next generation of Metachain offers a significant reduction in blue haze, making it less toxic and healthier for its operators and the environment.
The range is already being used on projects featuring lines by leading press manufacturers.
Metachain is formulated using latest synthetic based oils, anti-oxidants and anti-wear additives to meet the specific demands of chain applications in high- temperature processes, such as wood panel presses. The benefits, says Metalube, include increased efficiency such as reduced downtime and cost savings. UK-based Metalube exports 95% of its production to over 100 countries worldwide. HALL 26, CO8

OSCHATZ POWER
With more than 170 years of experience, Oschatz Power designs highly-efficient power plants that thermally utilise the complete range of fuels that arise in the wood and paper processing industry: biomass, waste wood, sludges as well as dusts and RDFs. Its boilers generate steam that can be used both to produce electricity and as process steam. Further efficiency gains can
be achieved by extracting heat into a heat supply network. By using state-of-the-art plant
components, flue gas is cleaned to adhere to the strictest emission limits. The fact that the production waste generated on site is directly thermally recycled significantly reduces the need for transport to an external disposal company. Since February 2023 Oschatz is a member of the Deurotech Group, a
partnership of experts in the wood- based panels and paper industry. HALL 26, STAND F23
