Vita Industrial’s Load Navigator
USA-based Vita Inclinata Technologies, the maker of load stabilisation technology devices that utilise a system of powerful air thrusters and sensors to automatically stabilise loads, will bring demos and company experts to Bauma. This will be the first Bauma the company has participated in. Vita says its flagship
product, the Vita Load Navigator, is increasingly being adopted by crane companies to eliminate the use of taglines and make lifting operations more efficient, precise, and much safer. Vita Industrial’s system uses an aviation sensor suited to sense position and motion and automatically stabilises loads, ensuring high- precision lifts in even the most challenging and windy environments. The Navigator captures over 1,000 data points per second and feeds the motion control engine to dynamically adjust to load sizes, crane movement, and environmental conditions. Four independent electric
thrusters pulse vectored air to reorient the load either autonomously, or by a user via the single-hand control pendant.
VOLVO PENTA A4.526 While its purpose-built electric driveline will take centre stage, engine manufacturer Volvo Penta will use its presence at Bauma to focus on the role of its market-leading diesel engines in the construction and mining industries, as well as the company’s transformation into new sustainable technologies.
